V65...what a bike!

I had a V65 when I was in high school. Probably not the bike a 15 year boy should have but boy was it fun. My brother had purchased it but did not ride it much so I ended up with the bike. I wasn't allowed to drive it much in the beginning but by my Junior year I was driving it every Friday to school. I had a buddy that had a motorcycle (don't remember what kind just remember it was slow) in high school and gosh I would crush him in a race! Well I ended up going to college with that bike. THat is all I would drive. I ended up putting 20000 miles before I gave it to my nephew and he had a good time on that bike. Well it just wore out and it's gone now. My other brother has one but it hasn't ran for years. He might be willing to sell it. But I loved mine. I had the best time on that motorcycle! I never lost a race until I raced a GSXR1100. Best bike and best time I've ever had! I loved those days!

I now own a 09 Vrod and '10 Vmax. I don't ride as much as a used to but still love my bikes. A little older now so...I've slowed down just a little...okay well just not when riding my Vmax!

Hi Mark...thanks for your story. By the way, I have a 1986 Honda V65 Magna with about 750 original miles. In the process of making road ready and it will be for sale I suspect within a few months. Keep an eye open for it.
