However, my ownership and enjoyment of Yamaha motorcycles has certainly not been limited to Royal Stars or Royal Star Ventures. I have have several V Stars...and in the more distant past, I have had at least 4 VMax motorcycles...which to this day still amaze me with their strength and power...and their reliability as well. It's very unusual and rare to find a combination of speed...power...and longevity with reliability. Those factors usually don't go hand in hand.

The Yamaha Royal Star in all versions is one of my favorite motorcycles for sure...and the venture is my favorite of the Royal Stars. I find them to be incredibly comfortable...extremely well optioned...and very competent over the road. Perhaps lacking a little bit in power in comparison to a Goldwing or Valkyrie...but it's not much of a drawback.
