My 2003 harley v-rod trike is so different and very rare. The v-rod in itself is very different and innovative.

First of all, this is Harley's first water-cooled engine. And it's a dandy. Harley Davidson contracted read that right to build them a bulletproof high performance water cooled twin cylinder engine and what Porsche came up with exceeded everybody's expectations.

Mileage at the time of this posting is 3139....hardly broken in.



Let me tell you folks, the 2003 harley v-rod trike is not what you expect from a harley. It has a cadence at idle but it's not the traditional "potato".."potato".."potato" idle sound we have grown to know and love. It's a cross between that and a high performance sports bike. Totally different than anything you have ever heard before and a really nice sound.

And this beautiful "Eye Candy" is putting out about 115hp at a much higher rpm than a Harley ever had a thought of achieving. It's truly a screamer. And it's putting out all that horsepower with alot less cubic inches than a Harley would have ever thought possible in the past....About 1130cc

And let me tell you something, when Harley hooked up with Porsche, they apparantly knew what they were doing. They created a motor with more hp than an 1130cc v-twin deserves...and with the ability to easily go over 100,000 miles and still be running strong. A new "Legend" so to speak.

This amazing 2003 Harley V-Rod Anniversary Model Trike handles extremely well and is easy to maneuver do to it's being considerably smaller and lighter than say its Goldwing or Harley full dresser trike counterpart. It's also easy to push in and out of the garage or driveway too.

And folks, let me tell you...when I say "Eye Candy"...I mean "Eye Candy". Everybody looks at this trike and stares and stares...bunches of thumbs up. Even young women who are not particularly interested in trikes (for old people) are staring at this trike and wanting a ride....for reals.

And this particular 2003 Harley V-Rod Trike has something I'm sure no other one in existence probably has. It has a "Pingel" Shifter which allows for electronic shifting up or down without having to use your foot on the shift lever. Of course you can shift normally using the clutch and shift lever, but you can also shift using the clutch and the shifter button rather than the foot shifter. It's a high performance option easily costing over $1000 and it's nice to have, although I'm a bit old fashioned and primarily use the standard method of shifting....thank you very much.

It also has FLASHING BRAKE LIGHTS so when you touch either the hand brake lever or the foot brake pedal, the lights flash off and on 3 times for attention, then they stay on while the brakes are kept on. A great safety feature.

The cost of producing this trike brand new would run close the $30,000 if you could find a brand new Harley V-Rod and started from scratch to match this trike.
