Built around a pumped up Gold Wing engine, this 2000 Honda Valkyrie certainly carries it's own special character. I call it a Gold Wing engine "ON STEROIDS". The large displacement engine is fed by six separate 28mm CV carbs, the cam timing is more radical, redline is higher, and the cruiser uses a more free flowing six-into-six exhaust system which produces an exhaust note all its own. Reminds me of awesome motorcycle music. This bad boy is big and brash, and the exhaust note will let people know you're there. Valve adjustment is by screw and lock-nut adjusters, camshafts are belt driven and the alternator pumps out a whopping 546 watts. This beautiful bike has been enhanced by the installation of a windshield to keep the elements and bugs off of your body and face and it has amazingly nice Hard Leather LOCKING Luggage Bags for convenience on a long trip or for a quick stop at the store. It also has foward highway pegs for extending your legs along with the standard footpegs.

Although this beauty packs some weight, it is suprisingly nimble for such a large machine. It is not a crotch rocket but it will handle nimbly in the parking lot and be totally competent and stable at highway and above highway speeds and with enough comfort so that you actually feel good after a long cruise. And the gas mileage is very acceptable considering the size and power of this machine. She will average between 30 to 40 miles per gallon depending on your driving style.
