THE 1999 HONDA VALKYRIE TOURER PROVIDES COMFORT, POWER AND BEAUTY. TRULY AN AWESOME BIKE. AND FINDING ONE WITH ONLY 7200 MILES IS A DREAM COME TRUE.

SOME BIKES JUST FEEL GOOD. THIS IS THAT BIKE.

Some bikes just feel right from the first ride, and the 1999 Valkyrie Tourer is just that motorcycle. From the moment you sit on the comfortable wide seat, place your feet on the large rubber covered pegs it's love at first ride. The bike will cruise around town effortlessly, as the long low chassis with it's very comfortable seating position just feels natural. What I personally love about it is that it sits low and even a shorter guy or a woman could use this bike without having to be on their tip-toes at stops. I am 5' 10" with a 29" inseam and I plant my feet flat at stops with several inches to spare. The first time you twist the throttle and bring the 1520cc liquid-cooled horizontally opposed six-cylinder engine to life, you'll realize that this truly is the ultimate package of comfort and muscle. The engine pulls from even the lowest of rpm's and it's totally tractable and forgiving and when you nail it, that whoosh of power will astound you. What could be better than a comfortable cruiser with enough power to always keep a smile on your face.

POWER TO SPARE. THIS TOURER WILL KEEP YOU SATISFIED AND SMILING. AND IT CAN DO IT FOR OVER 100,000 MILES EASILY!! IN ALL HONESTY, IT IS BARELY BROKEN IN.

Built around a pumped up Gold Wing engine, the Valkyrie certainly carries it's own special character. I call it a Gold Wing engine "ON STEROIDS". The large displacement engine is fed by six separate 28mm CV carbs, the cam timing is more radical, redline is higher, and the cruiser uses a more free flowing six-into-six exhaust system which produces an exhaust note all its own. Valve adjustment is by screw and lock-nut adjusters, camshafts are belt driven and the alternator pumps out a whopping 546 watts. The Touring model adds a full-size windshield and locking hard travel cases over the standard model.

SURPRISING HANDLING FOR A BIKE THIS BIG. YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Although this beauty packs some weight, it is suprisingly nimble for such a large machine. A crotch rocket it is not but it will handle nimbly in the parking lot and be totally competent and stable at highway and above highway speeds and with enough comfort so that you actually feel good after a long cruise. And the gas mileage is very acceptable considering the size and power of this machine. She will average between 30 to 40 miles per gallon depending on your driving style.

THIS MOTORCYCLE IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE.
