This 1983 Honda GL650 Silverwing Interstate Is Amazing....It Does It All Folks. Powerful enough to go cross country yet small and nimble enough to allow a person of smaller stature such as many women or smaller guys to enjoy the comfort and practicality of a full size tourer.
LETS JUST CALL IT THE PERFECT MINI-GOLDWING. HEY...IT'S EVEN CALLED AN INTERSTATE.
Folks, this is a very rare motorcycle..made only in 1983. The powerplants on these are virtually bulletproof...famous for easily going 100,000-150,000 miles and still be running strong. The luggage system is amazing. The sidebags easily come off for putting in the motel or just to take off to ride a sportbike if you so desire. Same with the top bag. And you even have a choice of seats for solo riding or riding with your riding partner. Like I said....THIS BIKE DOES IT ALL. And gets about 50 mpg in the process folks. DON'T MISS OUT.
And amazingly enough, this incredible and beautiful motorcycle only has 26896 original miles at the time of this article being posted. About 1000 miles of riding per year. All on a bike that will easily go 150,000 miles and still be running strong. Many more years of wonderful riding on this bike ahead of the new owner.
The overall condition of this bike is amazing. The paint and chrome looks great. There is one spot on the right front fairing that scraped up against the garage wall. Here's a picture...minor stuff.
The tires are old...have lots of tread but need to be replaced. BRAND NEW TIRES WILL BE PUT ON FOR THE NEW OWNER PRIOR TO PICKUP.
PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT IN MY OPINION THE COLOR OF THIS BIKE IS MORE OF A TEAL THAN THE BLUE COLOR THAT IS SHOWN. OTHER PEOPLE SAY THE PICTURES ARE A PRECISE MATCH SO PERHAPS IT'S JUST MY OPINION. BUT FOR WHATEVER REASON, I FEEL IT'S MORE OF A TEAL THAN SHOWN.
